Community Healer Academy

Healers have taken a critical analysis of their privilege, the violence upheld by that privilege, and the ways in which we all have the capacity to harm one another.

Healers are actively working to heal themselves from past trauma, committed to defusing personal triggers that provoke us to react by harming others & ourselves.

Healers have taken a commitment to radical transformative justice

Working outside current systems of harm and/or reducing current systems of harm from the inside

BMHA Nashville is committed to healing our community. One of the biggest challenges to receiving mental health care is finding a mental health provider.

The current shortage of providers is leaving a lot of people on long (usually months) waitlists. Do you know what's even more difficult?

Finding a culturally competent provider that looks like you.

That’s why BMHA Nashville is deploying our Mental Health Professional - Mentorship, Internship, and Supervision Bridge Form!
